March and April have been busy months for the team at FVTH. Delivery of vehicles into several different customers. The culmination of work and dedication from FVTH staff and our supporting suppliers. The final delivery is often the end of months’ of work. Starting with the initial specification, through the build. Checking that all the extras that are needed are in place. Rather like a jigsaw puzzle all the items need to come together to produce that perfect vehicle for the customer.
HGV – 32t Mercedes & 26t DAF
We were able to deliver new fleet into our customers Hevey (part of the Lords Building Group) and World Duty Free. Some 32 tonne tridem Mercedes and 26 tonne DAF box tail-lifts. Showing the diversity of our contract hire offering across various sectors of the market. Our UVS offering has been moving out of the yard too – supporting smaller hauliers across the country.
As ever this is only possible through teamwork across companies so many thanks to many – amongst them Palfinger, Rygor Commercials, Bevan Bodies, Paccar, Samsara, Greenhous – to name but a few.
It goes without saying that there is always a big ‘thank you’ to all our customers.
Working in our challenging market is never easy and the recent global difficulties with fuel has not helped – nor has the lack of support from government for the industry as a whole. FVTH have weathered many storms during its lifetime, so we march on to the next – providing a supporting hand to our customers, and being supported by our suppliers.
