Solomon delivers fleet of nine for FVTH and DIBS
Solomon, a leading temperature-controlled vehicle manufacturer, has produced nine 18-tonne DAF delivery vehicles for FVTH (Farnborough Van and Truck Hire). The bodies incorporate the latest Slipstream technology, Solomon’s aerodynamic product, to maximise fuel efficiency. The units incorporate Carrier Supra 850 MT units and a Dhollandia tail lift that has a capacity of 1500kg.
Ian Laing, sales manager for Lancashire-based manufacturer, said: “We’re very proud to continue our long-established relationship with DIBS through FVTH. Originally the client had specific vehicle requirements, so our expert technical team designed a vehicle to meet their safety, practicality, efficiency and environmental needs.”
Tim Houghton, Managing Director of FVTH said; “As a contract hire company, we work with many suppliers in strong partnerships so that we can deliver for our customers. This extension of the DIBS fleet with the Solomon trucks is a continuing relationship, where knowledge and experience help supply the very best.” FVTH have been working with DIBS for over ten years.
Toby Payne, DIBS said: “Extending any fleet needs careful consideration, but having FVTH as our contract hire supplier, ensures that we get the ideal vehicles. FVTH understand our requirements and working with suppliers such as Solomons means total confidence in choices made.”
Working in partnership with customers and suppliers has strengthened the FVTH offering over the years. The very best way to work, with all parties gaining from well-formed bonds of mutual respect, knowledge and expertise.
